Tony Edwards, CEO of StepChange Global, will be part of the UK Trade Delegation to the Expomin conference and exhibition, to be held in Santiago, Chile, in April 2025.
the XVIII Expomin is described as central to the Mining Industry in Chile, and is the largest mining show in Latin America. The show promotes the transfer of knowledge, experiences and technology that contribute to innovation and increase productivity in mining.
Under the name “Reimagining mining in Latin America”, the meeting will bring together leading academics, authorities and experts in different areas related to the industry and society.
Weeks away from Expomin 2025, the fair is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events in the global mining sector. The exhibition, which will be held from April 22 to 25 at Espacio Riesco, will bring together more than 1,300 exhibitors from more than 35 countries, covering various areas within the mining industry.
The International Congress, jointly organized by Expomin and Anglo American, and led by Patricio Hidalgo, executive president of Anglo American in Chile, presented the topics of the official program, which addresses and includes the main challenges and activities of the mining industry for the present and future.
