Tony Edwards, StepChange Global CEO, will be taking part in a panel discussion entitled “Brains vs. Machines: Can Automation Really Take Over Energy?”. The discussion forms part of the Go Digital Energy Conference, which will be held in Amsterdam, 3-4th June 2025.
Tony, along with the other panelists, will be focusing on two areas. Firstly, Robots and AI: Shaping the Future of Energy Work. This area looks at the growth of technology in the Energy industry. Then “From Wind Farms to Oilfields: How Robots Are Getting the Job Done.” This focus features case studies, specifically showing the effect of AI and robotics in action. These topics form part of a debate entitled Autonomous Energy Operations: The Next Big Thing or Just a Pipe Dream?
The debate will question whether robots and AI are the key to a more efficient, sustainable energy industry. It also asks whether we are overestimating their capabilities. Experts from both sides of the argument will come together to discuss one of the energy sector’s most provocative questions.
The debate forms part of the two-day Go Digital Energy 2025 conference to be held at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam. The conference theme is “Digital Innovations: Connected Minds: A Greener Tomorrow”. For more information on the event and to register, please go to https://globuc.com/digitalsolutions/
