Tony Edwards, CEO will be taking part in a panel on March 27th on the topic  “Efficient change management is essential for a successful digital transformation” at EAGE Digital 2024, to be held in Paris.  The conference brings together key digital and energy leaders, under the theme of “Delivering Better Energy in a Transforming World”.

Digital transformation initiatives are already complex organisational undertakings which require continuous technological and business model innovation over a prolonged period. The rapid pace of technological advancements and the growing pressure for the oil and gas industry to transform to a more sustainable business, requires that these organisations invest further in efficient change management as a core organisational competency. This roundtable will highlight the increasing role of change management practices within the modern energy company and how these principles can ensure value creation.

Other panelists include:

  • Cerys James, VP Transformation & Change, PGS
  • Patrick Kelly, Product Line Manager – Subsurface Data & Insights, Chevron
  • Sonja Kisin Spasojevic, Subsurface Transformation Manager, BP

About the Event

Digital: Delivering better energy in a transforming world

Our world is changing rapidly in many directions. Uncertainties are becoming the new norm. To keep up with this pace of change, we need to explore, find, and produce faster advantage barrels while also finding solutions for reaching net zero. This requires us to make the most of our data and use the best available technologies to unlock the right investment decisions faster.

To make the most of new technologies in geoscience projects, we need to invent new ways of working. This requires close collaboration with “new tech” industries to reach our goals and fuel the energy transition.
